To create, organize and establish an arts and cultural organization to promote the arts of the residents of Loisaida and the surrounding neighborhood in Manhattan and worldwide;
To develop arts events at community gardens and local arts and cultural centers for artistic, cultural, environmental, educational, and recreational purposes;
To organize and sponsor arts and cultural events encouraging neighborhood participation;
To promote, foster and encourage citizen participation and involvement in such neighborhood art projects and develop an awareness of the need to care for the environment;
To sponsor various community activities and encourage citizen participation in community improvement programs;
To act as a liaison between the citizenry and local city government;
To safeguard the citizenry by instituting various community based awareness programs including, but not limited to, pollution prevention and to prevent the destruction of green space;
